YES Academy set me up with a mentor teacher. Mr. Hunter would call me every week to see how I was doing. I had to email a contact form every week to let them know how many times I was logging in and that I was communicating with my teachers. There is a discussion board for every class. You send messages and talk to other kids all over the country about things you are learning about. I’m glad I can do my schoolwork at home through YES Academy. I don’t have to ride the bus all morning anymore and I’m working on getting ahead in school.
