YES Middle School 6-8
YES Academy has proven results with middle school students. This period of a child's schooling can often be challenging as they make the transition from elementary expectations to high school level work. By working closely with their parents to form the proper learning environment, YES Academy Middle School helps students handle this transition and excel in their classes. YES Academy provides a rich curriculum with many electives to choose from to meet students' academic needs and to prepare them for the increasingly technological world they will live and work in. Middle School Testimonials:
Andrea (Baldwin)
As a homeschool parent, having teachers available to help if needed is great. The mentor teachers take a genuine interest in the kids. It’s been fun seeing the interaction between them. I really appreciate that any help we need comes to us at our home – that’s great service.
Dale (Traverse City)
YES Academy provided a challenging curriculum that allowed my son to learn at a pace that was right for him. If he needed more time to get a concept, he was allowed it. If a topic peaked his interest, he could spend extra time digging a little deeper and learn even more. Nate has an amazing mentor teacher (Luke Hunter) at YES Academy. He looks at my son as an individual and communicates with him regularly. He truly cares about Nate’s success both in school and as a person.
I wanted my son to be treated like an individual, and YES Academy has done that. I loved watching my son learn and discover things on his own. We had so many active conversations, because when he learned something cool he didn’t have to wait to get home and remember to share it. I was right there and he could share it on the spot. I would absolutely recommend this program. The curriculum is phenomenal. The communication between teachers, students and staff is exceptional. If you are tired of cookie cutter programs that are designed to reach students as a group, rather than as individuals, this is the way to go!

I love the convenience of my child being able to work at her own pace, on her own time; by doing so she accomplishes more and is getting her classwork done. Before [YES Academy], the level of homework for after school hours was very intimidating and left my child very frustrated. |
