YES High School 9-12
YES Prep School Students
YES prep school is for students who are looking for a more advanced and challenging curriculum. They can be students who desire a larger variety of challenging electives, and advanced placement courses to earn credits towards college, and dual enrollment for college courses. These can also be students who want to advance at a faster pace and graduate high school earlier. Every student has an individual learning plan to meet specific educational needs.
YES Traditional School Students
YES traditional school is for students who seek a change from their current school whether it is public or private. These are generally students who don’t feel their educational needs are being met, and want to be able to learn at their own pace in an environment of their choice. These students have the same opportunity to courses as YES prep students, plus credit recovery.
YES Homeschool Students
YES homeschool offers homeschool families the ability to take advantage of all YES Academy curriculum while maintaining their desired homeschool integrity. We work with families to design a personalized curriculum that can include projects, independent study, and work-study credit to support their child's educational goals. Other offerings include foreign language courses through powerspeaK12, credit recovery, enrichment courses, Advanced Placement courses - even dual-enrollment (college coursework) is possible under certain circumstances. There are also a variety of seated classes. (Click on homeschool seat class tab)
YES Online/On-Campus Students
YES online/on-campus classes are designed for students that may be struggling with traditional school and would benefit from individualized support. These students are able to earn completion of a State of Michigan endorsed high school diploma and are also eligible for distance learning with an online content teacher and mentor teacher for maximum support. |
